Dr Ammar Attiya
Dr. Attiya graduated from College of Medicine – Baghdad University in 2001 and migrated to Australia with his wife in 2006. He worked at the Austin and the Northern Hospitals prior to joining the Australian General Practice Training Program where he worked in the lovely towns of Woodend and Kyneton. He became a fellow of the Royal Australian
College of General Practitioners in 2019.
His special interests are preventative medicine, chronic diseases management, men’s health and paediatrics.
In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, gardening, playing tennis and following his beloved football team.
Dr Sam Pennell
MBBS/B.Med Sci (Uni. Melb), DCH (Uni.Sydney), FRACGP
Sam grew up in Banyule and trained with Austin & Northern Hospital, gaining experience in paediatrics, urology, plastic and reconstructive surgery, orthopaedics, general surgery, and care for patients with spinal cord injury. Sam’s professional interests include family medicine, Men’s health and surgical procedures. He also works part time as a surgical assistant for plastic and general surgeons.
Outside of medicine, Sam enjoys spending time with his wife and sons, playing basketball and watching AFL.
